Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Rheumatology within Johnson & Johnson's Immunology division, serving as a scientific expert on current and future J&J products. Responsibilities: develop and execute territory-specific scientific engagement plans; build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs); facilitate high-quality scientific exchanges, identify educational gaps, and support investigator-initiated studies; stay current with scientific trends and emerging data; and support internal teams with scientific insights and research inquiries. The role involves leveraging AI tools for decision-making, translating complex data into meaningful discussions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaboration spans Medical Affairs, R&D, clinical operations, and external stakeholders. The MSL will also participate in scientific forums, contribute to strategy development, and support medical education activities. Qualifications: Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent), with at least 2 years' relevant experience as an MSL, ideally with therapeutic expertise in immunology/rheumatology. Strong scientific acumen, experience supporting a defined territory, and proficiency with digital tools are required. The role involves up to 70% travel, primarily in the mid-Atlantic US region, and requires a valid US driver's license. Preferred: residency or fellowship in a related field, familiarity with clinical research regulations, and residence in major metro areas like Baltimore, Rockville, or Washington DC.
