Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) – Pain program (near-term launch).
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders and (Allied) HCPs/stakeholders to support appropriate dissemination of clinical, scientific, and health economic data.
- Contribute external insights to shape the medical plan and support Medical Affairs strategy/plan execution.
- Engage HCPs in response to scientific/educational and research needs; provide emerging data to inquiries.
- Apply SEM consistently; incorporate medical plan and “listening priorities” into territory planning and capture feedback in CRM.
- Use CRM/data analytics to capture interaction details and support TL engagements.
- Communicate clinical/scientific/HE information compliantly; demonstrate knowledge of pharmacists, P&T committees, payers, and Integrated Delivery Networks.
- Support clinical development/operations: understand IB content, present at SIVs, provide trial site nominations, review end-of-study data.
- Represent at medical congresses; may lead abstract/session coverage and debriefs.
- Mentor/train colleagues; ensure compliance and timely administrative tasks.
Qualifications/Requirements & Skills
- Advanced biomedical/life sciences degree (e.g., MS/NP/PA); PhD/PharmD/MD desirable.
- Typically 5+ years as an MSL or equivalent Medical Affairs experience.
- Experience with pain-related medical conditions; strong literature appraisal; credible presentation skills.
- Territory/geographic knowledge; healthcare regulatory/compliance expertise; Health Economics/Outcomes Research knowledge.
- Proficient Microsoft Office; CRM/data analytics capability; fluent in English and local language (oral/written).
