Senior/Medical Science Liaison (Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Respond to unsolicited requests for information beyond approved promotional scope while following company policy on dissemination of scientific information.
- Serve as primary contact between PAH centers and internal departments (Medical Affairs / Clinical Operations) for company and investigator-initiated studies; ensure scientific validity and alignment with medical strategy.
- Establish and maintain relationships with thought leaders via publication concepts, advisory boards, grants requests, and CME educational endeavors.
- Provide medical and scientific training/support to internal stakeholders (clinical research associates, field sales, marketing).
- Manage assigned Medical Affairs project work, including contributing to departmental infrastructure (e.g., drafting SOPs) and identifying workstream efficiency opportunities.
- (Senior level) Mentor/train junior MSLs; lead key Medical Affairs projects; provide leadership to the MSL team in the absence of the Senior Manager/Manager.
Territory: N. California, Arizona, or Nevada.
Minimum Qualifications β Medical Science Liaison:
- 6+ years biotech/pharma (or appropriate clinical setting) with a Masterβs in life sciences (e.g., NP, PA), OR 2+ years with PharmD/PhD/MD.
- 3+ years clinical experience in cardiovascular, respiratory, pulmonary, or relevant disease states.
- 1+ years as MSL (or equivalent clinical + MSL experience).
- Excellent verbal/written communication; strong collaboration/planning/organizational skills.
- Proactive initiative and innovative solutions; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong presentation/facilitation/instructional skills.
- Travel up to 80% (including overnight).
Minimum Qualifications β Senior Medical Science Liaison:
- 8+ years biotech/pharma with Masterβs (e.g., NP, PA), OR 5+ years with PharmD/PhD/MD.
- 3+ years experience in PAH; 2+ years as MSL.
- Expert scientific knowledge; proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word; presentation/facilitation/instructional skills.
- Travel up to 80% (including overnight).
