Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Obesity, serving as a scientific/clinical resource within Amgen’s Medical team. Responsibilities encompass peer-to-peer discussions, supporting research and clinical trials, stakeholder engagement, congress participation, and compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires building strong external relationships and internal collaborations to advance Amgen’s obesity pipeline. Qualifications: Doctorate (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O.) with 2+ years Medical Affairs experience, or Master’s with 6+ years, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years. Preferred: extensive experience in clinical practice or research, biotech/pharma Medical Affairs background, and expertise in cardiometabolic or obesity fields. The role emphasizes scientific acumen, communication skills, and territory management within the U.S. The position is field-based, covering multiple territories in North Carolina, with an expectation to travel as needed.
