POSITION OVERVIEW
- Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL): field-based, non-sales focused role partnering with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Key Decision Makers (KDMs), and Academic Medical Institutions to deliver proactive and reactive medical education.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as scientific/clinical peer-to-peer expert to external KOLs
- Develop and execute a regional KOL engagement strategy; maintain long-term relationships
- Maintain an up-to-date KOL roster (active and notable)
- Identify/facilitate collaborative publications with KOLs/clinicians
- Orchestrate resources with top KOLs in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Serve as a resource to commercial teams on KOL landscape and expertise
- Maintain accurate reporting/documentation of MSL activities (calls, insights)
- Collaborate with HCPs/KOLs on medical affairs initiatives (publications, advisory boards, medical education, training/speaker development)
- Educate KOLs/speakers/consultants/advisors using approved decks and materials
- Plan/execute compliant KOL engagements at conferences/POAs/field visits; present as appropriate
- Support clinical development initiatives; capture clinical insights for medical strategy in CNS/psychiatry
- Work with National Accounts/Market Access to engage Managed Care/Health Systems/HEOR External Experts to improve patient outcomes and provide competitive intelligence
- Assist with on-label KOL development and speaker training/coaching; support creation/update of educational content

QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD)
- 5+ years MSL experience required; 8+ years in pharma/biotech preferred
- Preferred: established CNS KOL networks; experience in fast-paced pharma/life sciences; knowledge of pharmacokinetics
- Preferred: experience with field and HQ protocols; strong compliance awareness for field and cross-functional collaboration
- High scientific/clinical knowledge; excellent oral/written scientific communication
- Strong initiative, time management, independence, adaptability, and ability to work in ambiguous situations

Pay Range: $185,000 USD - $230,000 USD
