Position Overview:
Field-based, non-sales focused Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) working with KOLs, KDMs, and academic medical institutions. Provides proactive and reactive medical education to ensure up-to-date information for HCPs.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as scientific/clinical peer-to-peer expert to external KOLs.
- Develop and maintain regional KOL engagement strategy and roster.
- Identify/facilitate KOL/clinician collaborative publications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support top KOLs.
- Provide commercial teams with KOL landscape and expertise.
- Maintain accurate reporting/documentation of MSL activities.
- Collaborate with HCPs/KOLs on Medical Affairs initiatives (publications, advisory boards, medical education, training, speaker development).
- Assist with education of KOLs/speakers/consultants/advisors using approved decks and materials.
- Plan and execute compliant KOL engagements at conferences, POAs, and field visits; present at appropriate events.
- Serve as scientific/clinical expert to internal stakeholders; support clinical development as needed.
- Capture clinical insights to inform medical strategy (CNS/psychiatry and related areas).
- Work with National Accounts/Market Access to support relationships with managed care/health systems/HEOR experts; provide competitive intelligence.
- Support on-label KOL development and speaker training; partner on new/updated content and programming.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD).
- 5+ years MSL required; 8+ years pharma/biotech preferred.
- Strong existing KOL networks/relationships (preferably CNS); fast-paced environment experience preferred.
- Preferred: pharmacokinetics knowledge; field + HQ protocol experience.
- Must understand compliance and work compliantly in a field-based role across medical and commercial.
- High scientific/clinical knowledge; excellent oral/written scientific communication.
- Strong initiative, cross-functional teamwork, time management, independence, flexibility in ambiguity.
- Ability to engage HCPs; develop and execute education/engagement strategies.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $185,000 USD - $230,000 USD
