POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based, non-sales role partnering with KOLs, KDMs, and academic medical institutions to deliver proactive and reactive medical education to HCPs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a scientific/clinical peer-to-peer expert to external KOLs
- Develop and maintain a regional KOL engagement strategy and KOL roster
- Identify/facilitate collaborative publication opportunities
- Coordinate resources with top KOLs; support commercial teams with KOL landscape/expertise
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of MSL activities (calls, insights)
- Collaborate with HCPs/KOLs on Medical Affairs activities (publications, advisory boards, education, training/speaker development)
- Plan and execute compliant KOL engagements at conferences/POAs/field visits; present as appropriate
- Support internal stakeholders; assist clinical development initiatives
- Capture clinical insights to inform medical strategy (CNS/psychiatry therapeutic areas)
- Support market access efforts with MCOs/health systems/HEOR EEs; provide competitive intelligence
- Assist on-label KOL development (identify/train/coach speakers with approved materials) and support content/programming updates

QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD, PharmD, or MD required
- 5+ years MSL experience required; 8+ years pharma/biotech preferred
- Strong KOL network/relationships (preferably CNS); fast-paced pharma/life sciences experience preferred
- Preferred: pharmacokinetics knowledge; field + HQ protocol experience
- Must understand compliance and work compliantly across medical and commercial orgs
- Strong scientific/clinical knowledge; excellent oral/written communication
- Initiative, cross-functional teamwork, time management; independent and adaptable
- Ability to engage HCPs; develop and execute education/engagement strategies

Pay Range: $185,000 USD - $230,000 USD
