Senior Medical Science Liaison (Field-based, West territory; must reside in territory: WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, MT, WY, UT, CO)
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, interpret, and disseminate scientific data; translate customer insights to advance medical strategy and improve patient outcomes
- Build and maintain KOL/HCP relationships aligned to territory plans
- Support Takeda-sponsored research; assist with medical collaborative and investigator-initiated research
- Collect, interpret, and communicate medical insights to refine medical strategies/tactics
- Identify partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical
- Engage at medical conferences and respond to unsolicited HCP medical inquiries (per Medical Information referrals)
- Leverage digital tools (including AI) and complete required customer activity documentation (e.g., CRM), training, expense reporting, and other admin tasks
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
- Masterβs degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA) minimum; doctoral degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent) preferred
- 2+ years post-doctorate experience as a field-based MSL in the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and collaboration; work within legal/regulatory/compliance requirements
Preferred:
- Dissemination of complex scientific data; therapeutic area expertise; clinical/research/teaching experience; virtual/cross-functional teamwork; use of digital tools/AI
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 70% travel (including some overnight/weekends); must have clean and valid driverβs license
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Base salary range: $151,100β$237,490; eligible for incentives and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid sick time (up to 80 hrs/year), and paid vacation (up to 120 hrs for new hires).
