Role: Medical Director supporting clinical development and strategic initiatives for RAP-219, a precision neuromedicines program targeting bipolar disorder, focal epilepsy, and PGTCS. Responsibilities: provide medical input for clinical deliverables, oversee trial execution in collaboration with clinical operations, contribute to regulatory document development (INDs, CTAs), and ensure scientific rigor in development strategies. Manage external engagements, support protocol reviews, and serve as medical monitor for studies. Qualifications: MD or equivalent, minimum 2 years in biotech/pharma, with preferred experience in psychiatry and neurology clinical trial design (Phases 2a-3), and familiarity with GCP, regulatory processes, and clinical data interpretation. High-Value: focus on CNS/psychiatry indications, biologics or small molecules, early to late-phase development, regulatory document authoring, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with IND submissions. Work setup: hybrid Boston; anticipated hiring mid-Q4.
