Clinical Research and Development
Role: Senior Director, Clinical Research overseeing RNAi therapeutics development, primarily leading clinical programs in Huntington’s Disease, with potential support across other rare genetic, cardio-metabolic, neuroscience, hematology, and hepatology areas. Responsibilities: provide strategic clinical leadership, drive trial design and execution, ensure regulatory approval processes, oversee safety and compliance, collaborate across functions (Research, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Commercial), and manage key deliverables such as regulatory documents and scientific publications. Requirements: MD or MD/PhD with 10+ years industry or academic experience, successful leadership of Phase 2/3 clinical trials, especially in neurology/Huntington’s, strong scientific/clinical judgment, expertise in trial design, regulatory interactions, and matrix team collaboration. Preferred: experience with biotech/pharma partnerships, prior success with regulatory approvals in CNS indications. High-Value: neurology (Huntington’s Disease), Phase 2/3, regulatory engagement, biologics or gene therapies, global development, hybrid work setup (Cambridge, MA or Maidenhead, UK). Collaboration with research and external experts, extensive stakeholder interaction, and leadership in an innovative biotech environment.
