Senior Medical Director, Hematology Clinical Development

Role: Lead clinical development for AbbVie's therapeutic programs, overseeing trial design, execution, data interpretation, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: manage multiple clinical studies, ensure study integrity, review safety and efficacy data, and coordinate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs and Regulatory. Develop and oversee clinical protocols, reports, and submissions; provide scientific expertise; serve on or chair Clinical Strategy Teams; and support global regulatory interactions. Qualifications: MD or DO with at least 2 years of clinical trial experience, knowledge of trial methodology, regulatory standards, and GCP; strong communication skills. Preferred: subspecialty fellowship, experience in immunology, oncology, or neuroscience, and ability to lead global teams. High-Value: clinical trial leadership in late-phase (Ph1-3) programs, with a focus on immunology, oncology, or neuroscience; involvement in regulatory submissions; cross-functional collaboration; and adherence to GxP standards.
