Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain close partnerships with key medical experts and healthcare providers to inform Global Medical Affairs strategy.
- Provide expert medical input to guide clinical development, evidence generation, and launch planning for Lupus.
- Represent Global Medical at alliance forums and governance meetings (e.g., regulatory, R&D, safety).
- Develop and implement cross-functionally aligned medical strategies; lead high-impact medical activities (advisory boards, medical education, medical research).
- Review key manuscripts and publications; act as primary sign-off as needed.
- Identify and advance collaborations with external stakeholders, including healthcare and patient advocacy organizations.
- Serve as a trusted partner to alliance colleagues.
- Maintain a positive team climate.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
- MD (preferred) or PhD/PharmD; advanced degree required.
- 8–10+ years’ Medical Affairs experience.
- Rheumatology experience required.
- Experience working on alliance partnerships.
- Expertise in developing, communicating, and executing comprehensive medical affairs strategy.
- Strong knowledge of US and ex-US Medical Affairs regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; proven delivery against objectives.
- Agile, self-starter; comfortable in ambiguity.
- Travel: ~25%.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience with medical launch and lifecycle-stage products.
- Ability to lead/collaborate globally/regionally/affiliates to align with global medical strategy.
- Project management; initiative to solve complex problems.
