Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements strategic and operational TAs Global Medical Affairs programs focused on innovative evidence, launch readiness, and/or post-market solutions, including medical affairs planning and medical/scientific engagement.
- Provides expertise in the development and execution of overarching strategies, contributing inputs during design and end-to-end program execution.
- Develops and executes the Integrated Evidence Plan (IEP) and functional-specific programs to maximize value for the prioritized launch portfolio.
- Demonstrate solid competencies as a Medical Leader within US Medical Affairs; preferably with CV launch experience.
- Build effective partnerships with Medical and Commercial teams and US/Global colleagues.
- Serve as a key member of the cross-functional Medical Strategy Team (MST) driving tactical development and execution excellence.
- Drive a robust data generation program for current indications and pelacarsen lifecycle, including:
- Co-develop study programs with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HE&OR).
- Lead Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) program.
- Lead US-based Phase 3b/4 studies.
- Collaborate on lifecycle management studies and US strategy.
- Foster relationships with National/Regional/Local Medical Experts (including Investigators) and support the Medical Expert Engagement Strategy.
- Drive advisory boards and work with Field Medical on insight-gathering.
Education/Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent 4-year university degree required.
- Doctorate level degree (MD, PharmD, DO, or PhD in Health Sciences or related field) OR NP/PA degree with significant relevant clinical experience required.
Work Experience/Skills:
- Strong Medical Affairs background.
