Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development (Rheumatology)

Role Summary

The Senior Medical Director, Clinical Sciences leads clinical deliverables for assigned studies in rheumatology/autoimmunity, provides investigator support for Regeneron-driven studies, and resolves study clinical and conduct issues. Requires strong knowledge of drug development, GCP, study design, and regulatory/compliance landscape. Eligible backgrounds include Rheumatologist, Allergist, Immunologist, Pulmonologist, or Dermatologist with industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership and is responsible for all clinical deliverables within the assigned section of a clinical program, including protocols, clinical components of regulatory documents/registration dossiers, medical information, communications, and publications
• Influences team and may influence across functions
• Leads activities within a matrix environment
• Produces professional diplomacy and effective relationships at all levels internally and externally

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required
• Specialized clinical fellowship training in Rheumatology, Allergy, Immunology, Pulmonology, or Dermatology strongly preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in clinical development required
• Clinical research experience in academic/clinical settings may be considered at the Medical Director level
