Clinical Research and Development
Role: Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development leading psychiatric clinical programs, primarily in major depressive disorder (MDD). Objectives include overseeing clinical trial design and execution, providing medical leadership and safety monitoring, and guiding development strategies from Discovery through Phase 3 and post-approval. Responsibilities encompass leading studies, serving as medical monitor, contributing to development plans, collaborating on trial designs, reviewing literature, engaging with external stakeholders, and supporting regulatory submissions. Qualifications: MD or MD/PhD with at least 8 years of industry experience in clinical development, ideally in psychiatry or neurology, with expertise in Phase 3 trials, GCP, FDA/EMA regulations, and clinical trial design. Preferred: experience in neuropsychiatric therapeutics, leadership in complex matrix environments, and development of novel trial concepts. High-Value: Focus on MDD, neuropsychiatric disorders, late-stage development, regulatory interactions, global clinical trial oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.
