Role: Senior Medical Director responsible for leading clinical development programs in neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases, including pivotal trials and regulatory filings. Responsibilities: design and oversee Phase I-III CNS/Neurology trials, monitor patient safety, interpret clinical data, collaborate on global regulatory strategies, develop relationships with external experts, provide assessments for in-licensing opportunities, and support regulatory submissions. Manage investigator relationships, guide clinical trial conduct, and ensure compliance with GxP standards. Qualifications: MD or equivalent; 5+ (preferably 7+) years in biotech/pharma clinical development focusing on neurological disorders; experience across multiple development stages from IND to NDA/BLA; global clinical development and filing experience preferred. Skills: strong leadership, clinical trial design expertise, familiarity with regulatory processes, and ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment. High-value specifics: focus on neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases, expertise in CNS/Neurology, involvement in global IND/CTA/NDA processes, and experience supervising physicians or scientific staff. Work setup: hybrid or remote within the US, with the ability to operate effectively in a home office environment.
