Senior Medical Director

Role: Senior Medical Director overseeing global Phase 3 oncology clinical trials and BLA submissions for Summit Therapeutics' investigational therapies in NSCLC and colorectal cancer. Responsibilities: develop and execute integrated clinical trial programs, including protocol design, medical oversight, regulatory interactions, and cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, and Biometrics. Lead teams to ensure clinical milestones, contribute to scientific publications, review safety data, and support regulatory reporting. Requirements: MD with hematology/oncology specialization, 5+ years in pharma/biotech R&D, clinical development experience across phases, and knowledge of US and EMA pathways. Preferred: board certification or eligible, experience in fast-paced biotech environments, and oncology treatment expertise.
