Senior Medical Director

Role: Senior Medical Director providing medical oversight in clinical drug development for a portfolio of compounds targeting chronic diseases such as cardiovascular, metabolic, and pulmonary conditions. Objectives include leading medical monitoring, contributing to clinical strategies, and supporting regulatory interactions. Responsibilities encompass monitoring clinical trial safety and data, collaborating on study design, engaging with investigators, and ensuring regulatory documentation is compliant. The role involves representing the company externally, participating in scientific publications, and liaising with cross-functional teams like Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Operations. Qualifications include an MD or equivalent with 3-5+ years in medical monitoring and clinical development within pharma/biotech, ideally with experience in obesity, type 2 diabetes, or related areas. Experience with early or late-stage clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and medical literature is preferred. The position requires periodic travel to headquarters and external meetings. This senior role demands strong communication skills, scientific knowledge, regulatory understanding, and effective cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.
