Senior Mechanical Engineer

Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer supporting Alpha Tau's medical device manufacturing and core product development. Responsibilities: design and implement automated manufacturing systems and custom production equipment; lead full lifecycle development of core medical devices from concept to market; collaborate across R&D, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams; drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards. Requirements: BSc in Mechanical Engineering; 5+ years in complex mechanical design or systems development; hands-on experience with mechanical design, system integration, and manufacturing processes; proficiency in SolidWorks; strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills; willing to travel internationally. Preferred: experience in regulated medical device environment (ISO 13485, FDA, EU MDR); familiarity with motion control, robotics, DFM, verification, and regulatory submissions.
