Role Summary

The Senior Marketing Manager – Immuno-Oncology, GI leads brand development and marketing execution for the IO commercial strategy. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive market-shaping activities and ensure commercial success across the IO franchise. Based in Gaithersburg, MD, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistency in key HCP promotions and drive impact in oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of HCP personal, nonpersonal, and peer-to-peer marketing strategies in the US market, differentiating the brand.
  • Support the creation of branded and unbranded HCP campaign strategies to support key education initiatives and enable orchestration across channels and functions.
  • Engage with field teams to capture local insights informing promotional messaging, tools, and resources.
  • Manage partner agency relationships, workflow, and project budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with peer indication leads across the US to maximize strategic alignment and executional pull-through.
  • Collaborate with legal, regulatory, medical, and compliance stakeholders to ensure development and execution of compliant marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in identification, evaluation, and adoption of new partnerships and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Required: 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: managed markets, brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, strategic planning
  • Required: Experience with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) regulations, reviews and processes
  • Required: Prior in-line HCP marketing experience
  • Required: High emotional intelligence with a collaborative, inclusive approach that drives team success
  • Required: Experience building and integrating new capabilities relevant for brand success
  • Required: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex concepts
  • Required: Outstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners, agency partners and budgets
  • Required: Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities and projects
  • Required: Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions and compliance-related issues
  • Required: Experience working closely with field sales organizations to implement sales or marketing programs with measurable business impact
  • Required: Ability to lead without authority
  • Required: High capability at working collaboratively, thinking strategically and operating effectively in a rapidly evolving and competitive market
  • Required: High ethical standards and personal integrity
  • Preferred: MBA in relevant field
  • Preferred: Oncology or specialty care experience
  • Preferred: Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Peer to Peer)
  • Preferred: Product launch experience
  • Preferred: Customer facing experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
