Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer: Building Automation Systems (BAS)

Role: Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer specializing in automation (BAS / PLC) for Amgen's new drug substance manufacturing facility, focusing on biopharmaceutical production processes. Responsibilities: provide technical leadership in designing, commissioning, and maintaining building automation and process control systems; collaborate on site design, validation, and operational readiness; support implementation of GMP-compliant automation solutions; lead vendor FATs; oversee system administration, change management, and troubleshooting; drive continuous improvement in utility and equipment systems; support validation and data integrity adherence. Requirements: Bachelor's in Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field; 4+ years of engineering experience; knowledge of building automation, PLC programming, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and GAMP 5; experience with OEM automation software and instrumentation; strong leadership and communication skills; ability to travel domestically/internationally.
