Senior Manufacturing Supervisor

Role: Senior Manufacturing Supervisor overseeing daily operations in a biopharma-related manufacturing setting, with a focus on eye health product production. Responsibilities: lead and mentor manufacturing teams, drive operational excellence through lean methodologies (VSM, Process Mapping, 6S, Kaizen), implement process improvements, manage labor/resources, and ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met. Collaborate with quality, engineering, supply chain, and other support functions. Monitor KPIs and lead change initiatives to optimize efficiency and compliance. Requirements: BA/BS in technical or business field preferred; extensive experience in lean manufacturing, operational leadership, and data-driven decision-making; proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; proven change leadership and team management skills; ability to handle complex situations and meet deadlines. High-Value: experience in biopharma or medical device manufacturing, particularly in sterile or regulated environments; knowledge of GMP/GxP standards; leadership in continuous improvement and process optimization; location in Rochester, NY (onsite). The role entails managing a team of up to 25 employees, with a focus on performance management, employee relations, and cross-functional collaboration.
