Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Productivity

Role: Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Productivity at Bio-Techne's Minneapolis site, focusing on hands-on process improvement across upstream cell culture, downstream purification, filling, and packaging operations to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste. Responsibilities: observe and analyze work processes, identify bottlenecks, waste, and capacity issues; lead continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods; collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, and maintenance; coach frontline staff on Lean principles and sustain improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's in engineering, manufacturing, or related field; 5+ years of manufacturing productivity experience, with proven success in process optimization; experience with time studies, process mapping, and cross-functional project leadership; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred, Black Belt a plus; knowledge of biotech or regulated manufacturing is desirable.
