Role Purpose:
Collect, validate, and manage customer data to support business insights and commercial operations (sales, marketing, market access, patient support) across the organization. Cross-functional role interfacing with Market Access, Trade Channel Partners, IT/Operations, and data vendors.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee collection, validation, and management of customer data across trade channel operations, sales/marketing ops, market access, patient support programs, and syndicated data sources.
- Intake and integrate new customer data sources into 360 views.
- Own customer golden records, affiliations management, and related business rules/processes.
- Enable cross-functional teams to leverage customer master data.
- Own and maintain βcustomer360β in partnership with IT; collaborate to automate data pipelines and improve workflows.
- Manage contracts for commercial data procurement; ensure data use agreements for external sharing.
- Execute contracts to acquire data assets; partner with IT to ingest into commercial data lake/warehouse.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and customer operations to understand data needs.
- Partner with market access teams on rebates, contracts, pricing, and related operations.
- Lead/participate in cross-functional projects to optimize data operations and improve accessibility.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA + 5 years (or Masterβs + 3 years), or equivalent education/experience.
- 5+ years commercial operations consulting/direct experience in biotech/pharma/medical devices.
- 2+ years oncology (strongly preferred); oral specialty drug (strongly preferred).
- Strong preference: trade channel aggregation, EMR claims, syndicated/third-party data, promotional data; IQVIA/Symphony/OneKey.
Skills:
- Pharma trade channel and syndicated data expertise; MDM/customer data management.
- SQL/Python; Excel/Access/database experience; strong written/verbal communication.
- Strategic, cross-functional problem solving; ability to identify and correct operational weaknesses.
