Senior Manager, US Primary Market Research

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary PMR thought partner to Commercial (primarily brand teams), guiding framing of business questions and translating insights into implications for brand strategy/execution (supporting Consumer/Patient Marketing for Evenity and Tezspire).
- Act as internal consultant to move stakeholders from data to decisions (“so what”/“now what”).
- Support annual activities (brand planning, executive reviews, budgeting, business cases) with objective, insight-driven guidance.
- Lead interpretation and synthesis of consumer/patient PMR findings using standardized dashboards, analytics tools, and AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., MRAgent).
- Surface insights, risks, opportunities, and strategic tradeoffs beyond descriptive findings.
- Own KPI definitions, business rules, and analytic intent; ensure clarity/consistency and trend continuity.
- Ensure questionnaire/metric/data cut changes are intentional, documented, and aligned.
- Partner cross-functionally; coach PMR team members; guide effective use of modern tools while maintaining research fundamentals.
- Manage expectations on self-service vs. value-add PMR; facilitate strategic discussions and support adoption of new tools.
- Contribute to PMR capability/process advancement (methodologies, tools, efficiency, consistency, impact).

Qualifications
- Doctorate + 2 years OR Master’s + 4 years OR Bachelor’s + 6 years OR Associate’s + 10 years OR HS/GED + 12 years in analytics, sales, marketing, or related.

Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmaceutical/life sciences industry experience.
- Deep expertise in primary market research methods (qual/quant), preferably consumer/patient PMR.
- Strong analytical skills; strategic thinking and decision influence.
- Excellent written/verbal/facilitation skills with senior audiences.
- Collaborative work in matrix environments; experience coaching/developing talent.
