Senior Manager, US Immigration β€” Position Summary
Operational management for BMS’s US immigration program to ensure disciplined execution supporting talent mobility, compliance, and business continuity; translates immigration policies into consistent, high-quality delivery with internal stakeholders and external law firm.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as operational point of contact for US immigration case management; own end-to-end delivery for sponsored workforce.
- Manage day-to-day execution across visa categories/geographies; ensure case accuracy, deadlines, and priority action visibility using case management platform.
- Partner with outside immigration counsel/vendors to ensure timely filings, high-quality work product, and performance aligned with SLAs.
- Use predictive tools to identify and escalate cases at risk of delay/RFE/rejection/lapse.
- Collaborate on compensation-related immigration requirements (prevailing wage and wage transparency).
- Ensure compliant execution of US immigration policies via operational tools (guidance/checklists).
- Monitor policy adherence; provide escalation for employee/HR/manager questions.
- Lead I-9 and employment eligibility verification operations for non-US nationals (audits, re-verification, E-Verify).
- Maintain government-required documentation (public access files, PERM records, required filings) and support audit readiness; prepare teams for agency site visits; use AI regulatory monitoring tools to update operational guidance.

Qualifications / Required Skills
- 5+ years corporate immigration experience with end-to-end case management across nonimmigrant and immigrant categories.
- Strong knowledge of US immigration categories: H-1B, LCA/PERM (prevailing wage), L-1A/L-1B, O-1, TN, E-3, EB preferences.
- Expertise in I-9 compliance and E-Verify/employment eligibility verification.
- Experience managing outside immigration counsel/vendors to quality and timelines.
- Ability to communicate complex matters clearly to employees/HR/senior leaders.
- High-volume, multi-jurisdictional caseload management; proficiency with AI-powered tools/automation.

Preferred / Additional
- Bachelor’s degree (HR/International Business/Law or related); J.D. or immigration paralegal certification a plus.
- Global program and Global Mobility exposure; HRIS (Workday) and digital workflow/document processing; Lean/Six Sigma experience.

Compensation (Tampa, FL, US)
- $145,860–$176,748 base range (FTE); additional incentive cash/stock may be available based on eligibility.
