Senior Manager, Systems Automation

Role: Automation Manager/Senior Manager leading a technical team supporting manufacturing automation systems at Regeneron. Objectives include managing team performance, supporting deviations investigations, delivering large-scale improvement projects, and ensuring compliance and system reliability. Responsibilities encompass overseeing automation systems support, lifecycle documentation, change control, system validation, and cross-departmental collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and IT. Requirements: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; 7+ years (Manager) or 8+ years (Senior Manager) experience in software and system management within regulated environments, with preferred familiarity in PI Historian, Rockwell applications, PLC, HMI, and product testing software. High-value biopharma specifics include experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing, cGMP and GAMP 5 compliance, and automation systems supporting biotech production processes. The role involves project management, technical documentation, troubleshooting networked systems, and balancing workload priorities. Work setup: primarily on-site in Menands, NY, with 5-10% travel to Ireland; work hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm.
