Senior Manager, Supply Chain

Role: Senior Manager of Global Trade Compliance overseeing import/export operations in US/Canada, providing guidance to regional teams across Gilead's international presence. Responsibilities: manage daily compliance activities, collaborate with customs brokers, develop and implement policies aligned with CBP, CBSA, and other regulatory agencies, conduct audits, manage classifications (HTS, ECCN, Schedule B), ensure recordkeeping, oversee screening against denied party lists, and drive process improvements through KPI monitoring. Requirements: high school diploma with 12+ years, or higher education with 8+ years related experience in international trade compliance or supply chain management; US Customs Broker License and strong knowledge of US/Canada customs laws preferred. Skills include compliance program management, effective communication, risk assessment, and familiarity with SAP GTS. High-Value: extensive expertise in import/export regulations, tariff classification, duty reduction programs, and working with FDA or other PGAs in pharma or life sciences. Work setup: remote considered, with optional on-site presence in Foster City, CA, or Parsippany, NJ.
