Senior Manager, Strategic Finance & Corporate Valuation (SFCV)

The Role / Responsibilities:
- Support projects, initiatives, and analyses to inform strategic capital allocation and resourcing decisions
- Support financial modeling and valuation analyses for internal portfolio and growth initiatives
- Support financial modeling, valuation analyses, and investment case development for BD/M&A
- Analyze industry trends/themes and peer company developments; synthesize implications to the business and equity value
- Collaborate with Finance, Strategy & Corporate Development, Business Development & Licensing, R&D, Commercialization, Human Resources, and others

Additional Responsibilities:
- Support SFCV goals aligned with company strategy and 2030 Vision
- Perform valuation analyses for organic and inorganic growth opportunities
- Track performance against plan for transformation initiatives with FP&A
- Report and translate industry/peer developments to improve strategic decision-making
- Support portfolio strategy and investment decisions through business case development with R&D/Commercialization/Corporate & Business Development
- Partner with Corporate & Business Development to execute strategic transactions
- Support long-range planning and corporate strategy development/implementation/execution

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 4+ years progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, or hedge funds (3+ years may be considered with exceptional relevant experience)

Preferred/Required Experience & Skills:
- Highly preferred: healthcare investment banking and/or buyside (PE/HF)
- Preferred/considered: healthcare equity research or corporate development with strong financial modeling
- Passion for life sciences and mission
- Knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, corporate finance, and capital markets
- Strong interest in global biotech/pharma; structured problem-solving; clear communicator; highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven

Work arrangement:
- Flexibility to work away from office 20%–40% of schedule; not exceeding 40% within 60 days; approved by hiring manager
