Senior Manager, Site Electrical Engineer

Role: Senior Manager, Site Electrical Engineer, providing engineering support for electrical infrastructure within a biopharma manufacturing environment. Objectives include ensuring continuous operation of electrical systems, supporting regulatory audits, and managing utility infrastructure from concept to implementation. Responsibilities encompass system ownership, developing user requirements, overseeing startup and commissioning, troubleshooting on the floor, and coordinating construction projects related to power and auxiliary systems. The role involves collaborating with manufacturing, quality, EHS, external contractors, and utility providers, as well as managing project scope, schedule, and budget, and ensuring compliance with regulations and GMP standards. Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical Engineering (advanced degree preferred), minimum 8 years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing utilities, familiarity with large-scale plant utility systems (power infrastructure, electrical distribution), GMP knowledge, and experience with plant design software such as 3D modeling tools. The candidate must demonstrate strong project management, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work extended hours to support 24/7 operations. Preferred skills include proficiency in automation logic, understanding of industrial building utilities, and a Professional Engineer license. The role requires onsite presence at the Devens, MA site with some schedule flexibility and extended hours as needed for startup and ongoing support.
