Senior Manager, SAP – Planning and Manufacturing

Role: Senior Manager, SAP Manufacturing and Planning, serving as Product Owner for enterprise-wide manufacturing execution, production planning, and shop floor digitization across Gilead's pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing network. Responsibilities include developing the SAP manufacturing solution roadmap aligned with business goals, architecting scalable SAP solutions, partnering with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to define priorities, establishing standards for production planning and GxP compliance, and leading delivery of manufacturing digitization initiatives such as MES rollouts and PAS-X integrations. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree with 6-12+ years in SAP production planning, manufacturing execution systems, and supply chain technology, with deep expertise in S/4HANA PP, MRP, MES/Digital Manufacturing platforms, and third-party MES integrations. Strong knowledge of GxP, CSV/CSA, and regulated pharma/biologics environments is essential. Preferred skills include experience with SAP IBP/Kinaxis and enterprise-wide manufacturing transformation. Stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and product ownership experience are critical. High-value specifics include focus on GxP-compliant manufacturing, pharma/biologics, and digital manufacturing transformation. Work setup is based in Foster City, California, reporting to the Associate Director, IT ERP PDM.
