Role Summary

Senior Manager, RWE Analytics β€šΓ„Γ¬ Role is responsible for designing, planning, and executing large scale data analysis and algorithm development to identify gaps in the care continuum and measure impact using real-world data and evidence (RWD/E). This position serves as a technical subject matter expert on RWE analytics and acts as a point of contact for the MHI Enterprise on analytical needs, while standardizing coding conventions and processes to increase efficiency. The role requires translating complex data into understandable language and creating data visualizations for non-technical audiences, and applying advanced analytics approaches such as machine learning to address strategic questions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the analytics lead for the MHI Enterprise (all TAs) to mitigate, resolve and triage analytical complexities supporting care gaps analytics needs for medical engagement
  • Present results of analysis and key takeaways for audiences with varying technical skill and level within the organization
  • Identify internal and external data resources and external expertise to execute strategies and research activities
  • Develop and execute analysis plans, and be responsible for study design
  • Work with Medical Engagement to understand key impact variables and use RWD to quantify and operationalize these variables
  • Maintain accountability for meeting timelines in a complex matrix structure; build cross-functional relationships to ensure teamwork and problem solving
  • Interact with Medical Engagement, Business Unit TAs, HEOR Strategy, and RWE CoE regarding findings and strategic communication
  • Translate TA business needs into project concepts to develop analysis plans and analyses
  • Apply good coding, development and documentation practices to ensure robust care gap analytics projects

Qualifications

  • Masterβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree in Statistics or related discipline required; PhD in statistics or closely related discipline preferred
  • 3β€šΓ„Γ¬5 yearsβ€šΓ„Γ΄ experience in analytics programming (SAS, SQL, R, Python) required; experience with observational study analysis (claims, survey, clinical and EMR) required; Python and machine learning experience preferred
  • Ability to incorporate production code macros, execute programming assignments independently, and present complex research and data clearly to stakeholders
  • Experience in real world evidence generation using advanced scientific and analytical methods
  • Ability to perform urgent analyses with short turnaround time and collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Professional healthcare training or experience analyzing large medical claims datasets; UNIX/Hadoop environment experience preferred
