Senior Manager, RWE Analytics

Role Summary

Lead Real-World Evidence (RWE) analytics initiatives, applying study design, statistics, and programming to analyze clinical, claims, survey, and EMR data. Manage analytical activities for assigned therapeutic areas or products, develop study reports, and support PRO endpoint strategies while collaborating with HEOR scientists, team members, and CROs for QC and study execution.

Responsibilities

• Apply real-world evidence study design, statistical theories, and technical programming skills to analyze clinical, survey, claims, and electronic medical record databases.
• Serve as the point of contact for the assigned therapeutic area (TA) or product/indications to manage analytical activities on multiple projects/studies focusing on RWE analyses from large databases (e.g., medical claims, EMR/EHR, registries) across various therapeutic areas.
• Responsible for analytical components of reports describing studies, outcomes, and methods used, and provide specifications to the HEOR researchers.
• Support clinical trial PRO (patient-reported outcome) endpoint strategies by executing statistical analysis plans and providing consultations to design needed.
• Interact with HEOR TA scientists and other relevant stakeholders regarding study design and execution, and with other members of the RWE analytics team or external stakeholders/CROs to perform QC activities on their studies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Statistics, Health Economics & Outcome Research, Epidemiology, Health Service Research, or Analytics, or closely related field, and 2 years of work experience in data analytics.
• Must have 2 years’ experience analyzing data with deep competency in SAS and SAS SQL programming.
• Must have 6 months experience performing data management/analysis using clinical trial data.
• Must have 6 months experience designing and conducting real-world observational study analysis (claims, surveys, EMR analyses) and disseminating the results.
• Must have 6 months experience conducting RWE analysis using Instant Health Data (IHD) system.
• Must have 6 months experience analyzing real-world data to generate RWE with at least 2 of the following databases: MarketScan, OPTUM, OM1, Symphony, JMDC.
• In a work or academic setting, must have performed 2 projects utilizing advanced statistical modeling.
• Work experience may be gained concurrently.
