Senior Manager, Risk Governance & Reporting (Quality)
Responsibilities:
- Execute Q&C Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) governance cadence (calendars, milestones, forum materials).
- Maintain governance artifacts (charters, decision logs, escalation pathways, RACI, standards) and support adherence.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs for leadership-level risk reviews.
- Run quarterly Q&C ERM reporting cycles (collect, consolidate, validate inputs).
- Prepare draft risk dashboards, summaries, and narratives for Senior Director review.
- Track risk ownership, mitigation progress, and data quality issues to support escalation.
- Plan/facilitate Q&C risk assessments and top-risk refreshes; consolidate outcomes and recommendations.
- Apply challenge/quality checks to improve clarity, ownership, and mitigation maturity.
- Enable the Risk Management Champion (RMC) network (routines, guidance, standard work).
- Maintain/administer Q&C risk taxonomy and common templates; update for periodic/ad-hoc cycles.
- Operationalize methodology (definitions, scoring, escalation thresholds, risk appetite guidance).
- Identify standards requiring clarification and elevate recommendations for approval.
- Integrate external environment and emerging risk inputs into Q&C ERM cycles; partner to translate signals into reporting.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required (business, risk management, life sciences, quality, compliance, or related).
- 6β10 yearsβ experience in risk management, quality/compliance, audit, governance, or related.
- Experience supporting governance forums/reporting cycles/cross-functional risk processes.
- Analytics/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) and/or basic SQL for dashboards/automated reporting.
- Experience in regulated, matrixed environments.
- Solid ERM concepts, governance models, and risk reporting practices; experience with dashboards/templates/digital tools.
- Strong execution (cycle management, consolidation, validation, documentation) and leadership-ready communication.
- Strong organization/coordination with multiple stakeholders and deadlines; detail-oriented.
- Interest in change management, risk culture, or process improvement.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PharmD) and/or PMP.
- Experience standing up/sustaining digital ERM intake/reporting platforms; risk taxonomy development/maintenance.
- Experience integrating external trend/emerging risk inputs.
- Experience coordinating champion networks (RMCs/ambassadors) and culture initiatives at scale.
