Position Summary
Senior Manager, R&D Learning & Development supports onboarding, training strategies, systems training, and learning processes to build scientific, operational, and future-ready capabilities across R&D and the pipeline.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve a tiered onboarding and capability-building curriculum for discovery, early development, and late-stage programs.
- Apply experiential learning best practices for adult learners and effective knowledge transfer.
- Support GxP, congress, and data training with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with R&D SMEs to develop disease area/modality/platform/pipeline-focused training (including investigational asset education and emerging science).
- Lead and support internal training initiatives.
- Manage/develop learning modules with external vendors.
- Oversee advanced, recurrent, and future-focused training programs, including non-technical skills (e.g., scientific storytelling, data interpretation, matrix leadership, decision-making).
- Ensure training compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Enable systems/digital capability development for scalable, data-driven learning.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related field; advanced degree (PharmD/PhD/MD) strongly preferred.
- Targeting 7 years of progressively responsible experience in psychiatry, neurology, or rare disease (pharma/biotech preferred); education/training experience designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs.

Key Skills
- Knowledge of scientific/clinical/therapeutic area (preferred); strong presenter; excellent oral/writing; Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook; external vendor experience.
- Detail oriented, independent, proactive, strong planning/organizational and matrix collaboration skills; manage multiple priorities; travel (domestic/international).
