Senior Manager, Quality Assurance Shop Floor

Role: Senior Manager, Quality Assurance Shop Floor (QASF) Day Shift at Bristol Myers Squibb, overseeing quality operations for cell therapy manufacturing. Responsibilities: lead and mentor four day-shift managers and teams, ensure compliance with cGMP standards, manage quality oversight of manufacturing, testing, and packaging processes, and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Act as a frontline leader during day shifts, handle complex quality issues in real-time, support audits and inspections, and drive operational excellence. Qualifications: 8+ years of cGMP experience, with prior leadership in biopharma manufacturing, preferably in cell therapy, sterile environments, or microbial controls. Requires strong knowledge of quality management systems, GxP regulations, and electronic systems like MES, SAP, or TrackWise. Educational background typically includes a Bachelor’s degree in STEM or relevant work experience; a Master’s or MBA is preferred. Experience with FDA/EMA regulations, aseptic processing, and lean or six-sigma methodologies is valued. Work Setup: onsite in Devens, MA, working rotating 12-hour day shifts (Monday-Friday schedule). Candidate should be capable of working in ISO cleanroom environments and managing shift-based teams.
