Senior Manager, Quality Assurance Shop Floor

Role: Senior Manager, Quality Assurance Shop Floor (QASF) Day Shift, overseeing cGMP cell therapy manufacturing operations at Bristol Myers Squibb. Objectives: ensure highest quality standards in autologous cell therapy processes, foster a culture of quality, and lead a team of front line managers. Responsibilities: manage and mentor four day-shift managers and their teams, oversee quality oversight of manufacturing, release testing, and packaging; lead real-time decision-making, handle quality events, and ensure compliance with cGMP regulations; develop training programs; lead investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and audits; promote safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Requirements: 8+ years of relevant cGMP experience, with leadership in sterile/aseptic environments; strong knowledge of quality systems (deviation, CAPA, change control); proficiency with electronic systems like MES, ERP, TrackWise; ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts on a Panama schedule; technical acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. Preferred: experience in microbial controls, lean/six sigma, or biopharmaceutical manufacturing; a Master’s in STEM or MBA; FDA/EMA regulatory knowledge; 4+ years manufacturing site experience. Work setup: onsite in Devens, MA with rotating shifts; physical demands include gowning and working near magnetic fields.
