Senior Manager, QC Chemistry

Role: Senior Manager, QC Chemistry overseeing analytical testing of biologics within a GMP environment, supporting clinical and commercial readiness. Responsibilities: lead and develop up to 5 chemists, conduct hands-on chromatography testing (HPLC/UPLC), manage analytical method lifecycle (validation, transfer, troubleshooting), author/review protocols and reports, ensure data integrity and GMP compliance, investigate deviations, oversee instrument lifecycle, and standardize operations. Qualifications: BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry; 8+ years GMP QC experience in biotech/pharma, including 3+ years in people management; strong chromatography expertise; experience with method validation, transfer, troubleshooting, and data integrity; familiarity with LIMS/ELN systems. Preferably, biologics analytical experience (e.g., CE-SDS, icIEF, potency). High-Value: biologics, GMP QC, chromatography (HPLC/UPLC), biologics assays, method lifecycle management, audit readiness. Work Setup: onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, with occasional off-shift support.
