About the role
- Lead professional engagement for designated franchise(s) within Takedaโ€™s Foundational Therapeutics Platform.
- Partner with franchise brand lead and cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing plans, achieving key business objectives on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement professional engagement strategies including KOL/community treater identification, advisory/consulting engagement planning and execution, HCP peer-to-peer content development, speaker management and training, and P2P education execution.
- Collaborate with marketing/training/field counterparts to identify educational gaps and recommend content needs and HCP engagement aligned to franchise priorities.

How you will contribute
- Develop and execute annual professional engagement plan (thought leader identification/development/engagement).
- Create peer-to-peer content aligned to brand messaging and franchise strategy.
- Use market trends and stakeholder insights to inform strategy and investment planning.
- Obtain concept approvals; recruit/develop guides; execute advisory boards/consultant meetings.
- Recommend/manage speaker bureau (as applicable) and ensure symposia/product theatre execution at regional/national congresses.
- Manage KOL engagement platform; track engagements and organize insights.
- Manage budgets and program performance; forecast, PO/spend tracking, accruals/invoicing, KPI measurement.
- Work with legal/regulatory/ethics & compliance for compliant activities and approvals.
- Manage external agencies/consultants; serve as backup for team and direct manager as requested.

Minimum requirements/qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (Biology, Marketing, Strategy, Business Administration preferred); advanced degree highly preferred.
- 7+ years in marketing/pharma sales/healthcare provider experience in bio-pharma; strong customer relationship management.
- Thought leader/KOL engagement planning; speaker bureau strategy, training, content development; regional/national symposia execution.
- Leadership, cross-functional influence without authority, organization, communication, prioritization, analytical/problem-solving, strategic thinking, and budgeting skills.
- Travel 25โ€“40%; Cambridge, MA at least once every 2 months; may include overnight, weekend, or international travel.
