The Senior Manager, Product & Pipeline Communications (PPC) plays a pivotal role in strengthening and protecting the reputation of Regeneron and our medicines through science-driven, patient-centered communications. This creative and digitally savvy candidate is an experienced product communicator who will support U.S and global communications for several disease areas of Regeneron’s inflammation and immunology portfolio.

The role reports into the Director and communications lead for Respiratory/GI/Allergy and will be an integral part of our Corporate Affairs team. Top candidates should have deep experience in, and be adept at, bringing multi-platform, insight-driven communications programs to life – from data communications to branded campaigns, as well as disease state awareness and thought leadership programs that educate and empower patient and healthcare professional audiences. Experience working on a co-promoted medicine and best-in-class biotechnology / pharmaceutical therapies across disease areas will be viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

As the Sr. Manager, Product Communications, a typical day might include the following:

  • Lead creative programs to effectively reach key stakeholders, implementing innovative approaches to media, digital/social media, as well as strategic partnerships with organizations and influencers/content creators.
  • Manage product communications around medical congresses, data and regulatory milestones, including press release development, media strategy and outreach.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams – including, but not limited to, Commercial, Development, Medical Affairs, Legal and Regulatory – for collaboration on disease/brand awareness, launch preparedness and post-market engagement programs.
  • Anticipate and effectively respond to potential issues.
  • Working with larger Corporate Affairs team to support internal and external reputation-building efforts, including media engagement.
  • Bringing deep communications experience and industry knowledge to Regeneron to effectively: serve as a strategic counselor to internal stakeholders, navigate and influence matrixed structures, add value with strategy-driven ideas, manage agency partners and associated resources/budget.

  • Passion for staying apprised of, and building creative integrated campaigns based on, emerging audience insights and cultural trends.
  • Proven ability to leverage innovative technology and digital strategies to support product communications goals.
  • Understanding of regulatory, commercial and legal landscape governing pre-approval and post-approval pharmaceutical product communications.
  • Comfort in data communications and translating science into meaningful messages for external audiences.
  • Ability to work as an independent, self-starter with urgency and a results-oriented mindset in both static and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Confidence to work effectively with employees from all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional managers, research scientists and the general employee population.
  • Strong detail-oriented, organizational, process and project management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal / written communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant communications experience, including proven expertise in product and/or pipeline communications.

This role is based in our Corporate HQ in Sleepy Hollow, NY and is required to be onsite 4 days / week. This is not open to remote work arrangements.

For roles in which the hired candidate will be working in the U.S., the salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S.-based positions. Salary Range (annually)

$132,400.00 - $216,000.00
