Role Summary

Senior Manager, Procurement, Capital Services & Solutions role responsible for developing project sourcing strategies for Major capital projects and managing procurement packages to achieve lowest total cost of ownership while meeting schedule requirements. Requires strong collaboration with Global Capital Project Engineering, Global Capital Project Delivery, Site Engineering, and business partners to ensure flawless project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors; ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements; develop subcontractor buyout strategies.
  • Develop procurement execution plans and strategies; oversee RFQs/RFPs, should-cost estimates, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.
  • Establish procurement risk registers during preconstruction and identify mitigations; monitor market trends and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Monitor project budgets and costs; review contract payments and co-manage change orders.
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of Autodesk preconstruction tools; ensure proper insurances, permits, and licenses; maintain procurement documentation and records.
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders; provide regular updates on contract status and issues.
  • Monitor contractor and supplier performance; conduct site visits; prepare procurement status reports; collaborate with legal teams to resolve disputes.
  • Ensure health and safety requirements are included in contracts and followed on-site.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of procurement management experience for capital or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of construction sourcing best practices and contract management.
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar digital collaboration platforms.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills; excellent cross-functional communication.
  • Travel: 20%.
