Role Summary

Senior Manager, Procurement, Capital Services & Solutions. Responsible for developing project sourcing strategies for Major capital projects, collaborating with Global Capital Project Engineering, Global Capital Project Delivery and Site Engineering to maximize value and achieve lowest total cost of ownership while meeting schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Development and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers; ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements; develop subcontractor buyout strategies with construction managers.
  • Procurement Management: Develop procurement execution plans; prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs; evaluate bids to select contractors and suppliers.
  • Risk Management: Develop procurement risk registers; monitor market trends; identify and mitigate contract-related risks; ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets; assist with payments to contractors and suppliers; co-manage change orders and variations.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Set up and maintain Autodesk preconstruction suite; ensure insurances, permits and licenses are in place; maintain records of contracts and documents; support procurement documentation and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, project managers and stakeholders; provide regular contract status updates.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor contractor/supplier performance; conduct site visits; prepare procurement status reports; support resolution of contractual disputes with legal teams.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety requirements are included in contracts and on-site adherence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education of a B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
  • At least five years of experience managing procurement activities for capital or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of construction sourcing best practices and contract management.
  • Experience with digital collaboration platforms for procurement and project management (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud: Precon, Build, BIM 360, Docs).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills; excellent cross-functional communication.
  • Travel up to 20%.
