Role Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of data-driven insights and solutions for patient services programs.
- Partner with Pfizer Business Analytics, Pfizer Business Technology, Specialty Pharmacy Providers (SPP) center of excellence, external SPP customers, legal, and compliance to develop and implement models, insights, and data products that drive brand strategic priorities.
- Perform sophisticated syntheses across multiple insight sources (secondary analytics, primary strategy, and stakeholder feedback) to deliver patient services strategy recommendations.
- Identify KPIs to monitor and diagnose program performance and operational execution across the patient journey.
- Maintain data governance standards to ensure consistency and clarity of program metrics and business rule implementation over time.
- Deliver integrated insights, program measurement analytics, reporting, and launch support as part of a high-performing insights team.
- Monitor and manage research and analytics program budgets, identify cost-savings opportunities, and ensure financial compliance.
Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and coding skills (Python, R, SQL, etc.); MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with insight development methods across secondary data analytics and primary market research.
- Experience using innovative techniques to monitor, simulate, and analyze complex data sets.
- Ability to assess/direct vendor technical capabilities and manage analytic process risks.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required; Master of Science strongly preferred in a quantitative or engineering discipline.
- 6+ yearsโ experience in biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, business, or related area.
- 2+ yearsโ hands-on coding experience with SQL or other life sciences data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SAS).
- Experience with pharma ecosystem datasets (e.g., physician prescribing, institutional sales, payer-prescriber data, formulary data, Rebates, Symphony claims, Copay claims).
- Prior experience with patient services programs, including affordability programs (e.g., copay, eVoucher), field access support, hub/prior authorization support, and pharmacy/distribution workflows (retail, specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill).
- Demonstrated success in a highly fast-paced environment.
- Ability to execute business direction, priorities, and action plans.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and experience presenting to functional leaders.
- Strong customer service orientation; ability to receive and implement direction and commit to coaching/development.
