Major Responsibilities
- Lead standard and ad-hoc analytics on key migraine and psychiatry brands to influence market access strategy using data analytics, customer insights, and business knowledge.
- Co-develop with U.S. Market Access leaders Pricing and Contracting strategies to achieve optimal payer formulary access and maximize net sales for assigned brands.
- Use claims analysis to identify market dynamics shaping brand demand and build models to portray risks, opportunities, and sensitivities.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape and key therapeutic areas to proactively address opportunities and threats.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal U.S. Market Access Sales and Marketing stakeholders.
- Align insights with brand insight partners to positively impact brand decision making when integrated with HCP and Consumer insights.
- Lead GPO, Specialty Pharmacy, Health Plan, and PBM contracting strategy development across payer channels using advanced modeling; communicate analytical narratives on negotiation opportunities/risks and inform financial projections based on launch pricing and contracting.
- Deliver brand-specific market access analytical insights; assess utilization management, tiering, medical policy impacts on demand, line of therapy, and co-pay support.
- Conduct investigative analytics to validate/quantify market phenomena related to competitive or customer tactics; identify quantitative value drivers guiding clinical data development and value positioning.
- Synthesize insights using syndicated and AbbVie proprietary data, data science, and modeling; lead supplier/stakeholder management and external analytics; develop analytical strategies for the issue.
- Communicate market access insights to leadership.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree
- 7+ years professional experience
- 4+ years related analytics/advanced analytics industry experience
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, Power BI, and data warehousing
- Project leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:
- Masterโ€™s degree in analytics/Healthcare or MBA
- Consulting experience
- Experience with syndicated data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony)
- 2+ years pharmaceutical market access experience with Health Plans, PBMs, hospital systems, specialty pharmacies, and healthcare policy stakeholders
- 3+ years pharmaceutical marketing insights experience with Physician and Consumer stakeholders
- Marketing/sales analytics experience
