Senior Manager or Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing

Role: Strategic Sourcing Manager supporting R&D procurement for a biopharma focused on targeted protein degradation (TPD). Responsibilities include sourcing strategy development, vendor management, contract negotiation (CROs, CMOs, strategic vendors), and driving cost savings to align with operational and financial goals. Lead vendor diligence, RFP processes, and establish preferred supplier relationships, tracking sourcing activities and performance metrics for informed decision-making. Requirements: 6+ years in biotech/pharma sourcing, procurement, or supplier management; experience supporting R&D functions such as Clinical, CMC, or Translational Medicine; strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills; ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders. Preferred: demonstrated success in fast-paced environments, adept at managing multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills. High-Value: support for early-stage research, CMC, or clinical development in biotech or pharma; experience with vendor negotiations, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing processes.
