Responsibilities:
- Facilitate development of commercial insights and analytics for in-market and pipeline brand products (marketing strategies, positioning, pricing, HCP/patient insights, competitive insights).
- Independently design, code, and execute advanced analytics using SQL and Python/R.
- Own ingestion, validation, and analysis of 3rd-party healthcare datasets (IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva Compass, medical/pharmacy claims).
- Conduct longitudinal patient analytics (cohort design, adherence/persistence, switching, line of therapy, journey analysis).
- Perform market sizing, opportunity identification, competitive analytics, and launch performance tracking.
- Develop and maintain automated/semi-automated analytical workflows.
- Build/maintain PowerBI dashboards for brand teams.
- Translate analyses into insight-driven PowerPoint presentations.
- Provide oversight and quality control for offshore analytical support (as applicable).
- Lead/drive analytic projects; propose actionable recommendations.
- Proactively evaluate new data sources, tools, and analytics techniques.
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Bachelorโs degree (or equivalent) in relevant field (Math/Stats/CS/Data Science/OR/Management Science/Econ/Engineering preferred); Masterโs preferred.
- Pharmaceutical experience required.
- 3+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare analytics or secondary data analysis; 5+ years applying advanced methods/stats on large datasets; 7+ years scoping/managing insight-driven market analytics projects (preferred; combination of experience/education considered).
- Subject matter expert in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and secondary data analytics; advanced study design knowledge and ability to assess vendor capabilities and risks.
- Hands-on experience with syndicated national/subnational/patient longitudinal data (e.g., IQVIA, Veeva) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, and big data technology; strong data lake architecture understanding.
- PowerBI data visualization knowledge; strong leadership, communication, influencing, and organizational/time management.
- Ability to direct external support; solve complex computations and non-standard problems.
- English proficiency required; sedentary role with minimal lifting (up to 10 lbs); travel <10%; remote work/normal office.
Benefits/Compensation/Application:
- Salary range: $95,000 - $193,000.
