Key Responsibilities:
- Support Oncology Medical & Scientific Director adoption of advanced technologies and processes for enterprise data analytics across diverse sources; influence medical oncology stakeholders to maximize data and analytics value.
- Mentor, guide, and supervise junior staff and contractors.
- Lead development and validation of innovative algorithms using advanced analytics and AI/ML.
- Oversee analytically and clinically complex cross-functional R&D Clinical Development projects to drive data-informed decisions.
- Represent the Medical & Safety Analytics team at key regulatory, compliance, and governance meetings as an oncology medical analytics subject matter expert.
- Supervise resource allocation to ensure consistent analytics support and timely delivery of analytics solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, GCPs, ICH guidelines, SOPs, and stay up to date with relevant global regulatory policies.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Must have an MS in statistics, mathematics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science, or equivalent, plus 2 years applying data science analytics techniques in pharma.
- R/Python coding; statistical and data mining techniques; build statistical visualization tools in Spotfire, Tableau, and MS Power BI; use pharma full lifecycle domain knowledge as an analytic consultant for cross-functional teams.
- Alternative: BS plus 5 years in pharma data science analytics with the same skills.
- With either: 1 year performing project management and leading a team or cross-functional initiative.
