About the role:
- Senior Manager, Medical Content supporting the development, maintenance, and execution of the medical content strategy across the GI portfolio.
- Interact with key internal stakeholders and liaise with vendors for assigned assets.
- Travel to professional meetings and conferences (limited overnight and potential international travel).

Responsibilities:
- Manage training content repositories and support timely execution of medical content tactics.
- Drive agile development, execution, and continuous refinement of compliant, scientifically rigorous external medical content.
- Design and develop scientific and disease/product content aligned with business rules and processes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to reflect scientific data aligned to medical objectives and strategy.
- Regularly update content with therapeutic area and product advancements.
- Develop innovative training content channels for varied learner preferences.
- Monitor learning outcomes via assessments/evaluations.
- Use AI/digital-enabled approaches to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Partner cross-functionally to align training with organizational objectives; support medical content strategy and execution.
- Serve as a trusted partner to influence training program decisions.
- Lead adoption of digital and AI-enabled solutions; operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment.

Qualifications & skills (What you bring):
- Advanced degree (MPH/MS/Ph.D./MD/PharmD) in biosciences.
- 3+ years in pharma or medical communications; 2+ years in medical affairs (medical communications).
- Track record developing scientific training or technical/scientific content.
- Resource allocation; vendor and budget management.
- Strong organization/project management; multiple-priority management.
- Scientific data interpretation; learning solution development.
- Experience with Articulate (RISE/360) and Veeva (Vault/Promomats).
- Understanding of clinical development and product life-cycle management.
- Strategic messaging; knowledge of standards, compliance, and regulations.
- Experience writing scientific communication decks/reports/materials.

- Base salary range (Lexington, MA): $151,100.00–$237,490.00; possible incentives.
