Role Summary

Senior Manager, Materials Management and Logistics at Immatics. Lead end-to-end supply chain operations for critical materials in development, clinical, and commercial cell therapy. Manage material planning, inventory, warehousing, cold chain logistics, and distribution to ensure GMP/CLIA compliance and uninterrupted patient delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team across material planning, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and inventory management.
  • Act as a role model for team members with respect to attendance, integrity, transparent communication, and execution of assignments.
  • Hire team members that fit the job, culture, and team dynamics; distribute work; organize schedules; ensure meaningful work that moves the company forward.
  • Communicate frequently with team members to ensure they have the information and tools to perform their functions.
  • Manage the receiving, storing, and shipping of all GMP materials, products, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure GMP materials, products, and equipment meet quality standards.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support product launches and supply chain optimization.
  • Ensure GMP material management activities are performed in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Oversee GMP-compliant material handling for raw materials, consumables, and drug products in a regulated environment.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Clinical Operations to align material availability with production and clinical timelines.
  • Partner with Operational Excellence to drive Lean/DMAIC projects; manage budgets and cost-saving initiatives; align digital strategy (LIMS, WMS, ERP); maintain Master Data and P2P alignment.

Qualifications

  • Required: Working knowledge of biotech supply chain activities (cGMP, 21CFR211); High School Diploma; 5+ years in Life Sciences/Biotech; excellent verbal and written communication; strong MS Excel and Word skills.
  • Preferred: Life Sciences or Supply Chain experience; Bachelor's degree; experience with paper-based systems.
