Senior Manager Marketing Strategy

Responsibilities:
- Support priority strategic growth workstreams (e.g., PMR, Competitive Readiness, New Product Launch) by managing cross-functional alignment and on-time execution; selectively lead tactic development.
- Identify new growth opportunities using market understanding, competitive insights, customer needs, and performance diagnostics; synthesize into clear problem statements and options.
- Support long-range planning and investment strategy with recommendations, trade-off analyses, and decision-ready materials.
- Design and execute hypothesis-driven test-and-learn pilots, including success metrics, implementation plans, and scaling recommendations; operationalize learnings into the brand plan.
- Build business cases and influence investment decisions; partner to ensure pilots meet legal/regulatory/medical requirements for compliant scaling.
- Partner with Amgen India to deliver innovative solutions for brand challenges not addressed in the tactical plan.
- Translate US brand needs into innovation briefs; coordinate agile execution, learning loops, and integration back into US commercialization.
- Build and develop high-performing direct/matrix project teams; own portions of budget and recommend investment choices to maximize impact and ROI.
- Ensure efficient internal review execution with clear briefs, timelines, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Basic Qualifications (required):
- Doctorate + 2 years marketing/commercial biotech/pharma OR
- Master’s + 4 years OR
- Bachelor’s + 6 years OR
- Associate’s + 10 years OR
- High school/GED + 12 years

Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years marketing strategy/brand growth/lifecycle management with measurable outcomes.
- Strong market research, forecasting, performance analytics, and insight-to-strategy translation.
- Competitive readiness and differentiated positioning experience.
- Experience designing/scaling test-and-learn pilots with success metrics and change management.
- Innovation partnerships and agile delivery experience.
- Practical AI/automation and advanced analytics for marketing effectiveness.
- Cross-functional influencing in matrixed organizations; align senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading/coaching teams and agencies; accountability/continuous improvement in hybrid environment.
